Teacup Pug

The pug breed has Oriental origins and was favorite among the Buddhist Monks and Chinese people. They are one of the oldest dog breeds in the world. Teacup pugs have cute looks that melts our hearts. In the 16th century they were brought to Western Europe. There they became favorite dogs among the European royals. In 1885, the teacup pug was recognized by the American Kennel Club. Males are up to 14 inches in height, while females are only 10 inches in height. Their appearance is compact and muscular with square features. Teacup pugs have wrinkled face that is covered with a black mask. They have an even temperament and are friendly dogs. Pugs are very playful and love to box their toys with their feet. This breed does not need lots of exercise. A short walk would be just fine for a pug. Wrinkles should be cleaned daily. Burshing a pugs coat is also recommended daily to keep it clean and sleek. When it comes to training, teacup pugs can be a little stubborn. An owner must have patience with these teacup dogs. Teacup dogs need special care because of their size. An owner must pay attention to these breed because they may get choked on something, stepped on or dropped which can seriously hurt teacup pugs. Bad owners cross a pug and a chihuahua to get a teacup pug. Those dogs are not puredbred pugs and are not recognized by the American Kennel Club or any other respective kennel club. Teacup pugs are highly demanded dogs because of their attractive and cute looks. These teacup dogs require extra attention and care regarding its safety. Because of this, they may not be an ideal pet for elderly people. Teacup pugs are among the happiest dogs in the world and they will fill everyhome with happiness and joy.
